Four Star Flag
Three white stripes - the North, South and West sides. The top blue stripe for Lake Michigan and the North Branch of the Chicago River, the bottom blue stripe for the South Branch and the Great Canal. Four six-pointed stars for Fort Dearborn, the Great Chicago Fire, the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893 and the Century of Progress Exposition, each point representing the virtues and concepts that have made Chicago what it is. An iconic flag for an iconic city.
